Our language tourism destinations in Colombia
Colombia is a very diverse country and that is why we have designed language tourism experiences in different regions so that you can get to know the best of my country.
If you like the beach, Santa Marta is for you. If you are more of a city person, you will love Medellin, and if mountains and adventure are your thing, Santander awaits you.
The experience in each of our destinations is different, here we share with you the most relevant of each one, but we hope you can live them all.

Here we enjoy the Caribbean Sea. Santa Marta is the oldest city in Colombia. In this destination we have beach, jungle, mountains and a very old city full of life.
Some of the things we explore here:
- Living indigenous cultures
- Beautiful beaches in the middle of the jungle.
- Coffee plantation in the mountains.
- The music of the Caribbean (if you like music, this trip will fascinate you).
- Caribbean gastronomy.

Medellin is the most innovative city in Colombia and currently has the highest growth in tourism in the country. Some of the activities we do in this destination are:
- We traveled through one of Medellín’s neighborhoods. A place that in the 90’s was one of the most dangerous in the world and has become an attraction for all kinds of tourists.
- We learn about flowers and traditional festivities in Medellín.
- Visiting an iconic town

In the middle of the Andres Mountains is the department of Santander. Here we visited 3 different places: Bucaramanga which is a city, Charalá which is a traditional town and is the cradle of Colombia’s independence and Barichara which is known as the prettiest little town in Colombia and has become the resting place of artists and retirees from all over the country.
This trip is ideal for those who enjoy the mountains, are attracted by natural waterfalls and are interested in the history of Colombia’s independence.
How do our language tourism weeks work?
The language tourism weeks in Colombia, are designed with a duration of 7 days and 6 nights. You should arrive at the airport of the destination city and we will pick you up there and take you to the hotel where we will stay.
The schedule varies in each city and although we have many guided tours, you will also have free time so you can get to know the destinations at your own pace.

We start each day with a 1 hour Spanish lesson (approximately) and then we have activities to put into practice what we have learned and get to know the best of each destination.
Every day we have activities designed so that you can practice what you learned in class and also explore the culture, history and customs of each region.
We need at least 7 registrants for the trip to happen. Read the terms and conditions here.
This is how our students feel when they come for the language tourism week
