Improving your pronunciation in Spanish is necessary to communicate easily. For a few weeks in Español con María we have been developing special videos that help improve pronunciation in Spanish.

Spanish is a phonetic language, that means that words are pronounced as they are written. Therefore, the key to pronounce correctly in Spanish is to know the sound of each letter.

Few weeks ago I lauched a new section in my Youtube channel and on my Instagram account that which seeks to help you improve pronunciation in Spanish. (Write @EspanolConMaria on Instagram to find my account). In this section I choose a word every week that is often difficult to pronounce in Spanish. In the video I teach you how to pronounce it correctly and why it has that specific sound. Let me tell you more about this nection in the lines bellow.

These are short videos that I publish weekly and that explain how to pronounce a specific word in Spanish. Here I will show you the video of this week that is dedicated to the pronunciation of the word rural.

The words are chosen by taking into account the sounds that are often difficult for Spanish students; and even, in some cases, they tend to be badly pronounced by Spanish native speakers. If anyone has a question about a specific word, he or she can write it in the video comments and I will keep it in mind for next videos.
